Solar Street Lighting/Public lighting is worldwide a symbol of modernity. Autonomous solar systems represent a formidable tool for economic and social development, which is addressed to rural areas without access to electricity, peri-urban areas where the electricity network is absent, intermittent, or urban for the sake of energy savings.

SOLEKTRA has demonstrated its experience and a difference in the solar street lighting projects. We participated in different great street lighting projects in Rwanda and partnered with well known Organizations such Practical Action, UNHCR and RDB.
