ATEC Global and Solektra Rwanda hosted a Local Stakeholder Consultation Meeting for the Data Verified Smart Induction Stove Project in Rwanda. The project aims to distribute 𝟏𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐬 to grid-connected households that rely mainly on charcoal and firewood for cooking. ATEC’s smart induction stove is a data-verified, high-efficiency solution that is safe, 𝟓𝟎% 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞, and environmentally friendly.

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫:
• Significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions
• Improved indoor air quality
• Lower fuel costs for households
• Reduced fuel collection burden, especially for women and children

The meeting brought together stakeholders for open discussion on how the initiative can support clean cooking adoption and climate action in Rwanda under the Article 6.2 CORSIA mechanism with nationwide coverage.
