This solar project, designed and installed by SOLEKTRA Rwanda, features a 10 kWp solar panel system, a 12 kVA inverter, and a 15 kWh battery bank. The primary objective of this initiative is to provide sustainable energy solutions for agricultural use. Social Good Farm operates four greenhouses, one of which incorporates aquaponic technology. This greenhouse is equipped with surface pumps, fans, air pumps for fish, and other electrical appliances essential for aquaponics operations. The installation and commissioning of the project were completed in just two weeks. Additionally, the system includes advanced live monitoring technology to ensure real-time oversight and provide rapid support when needed.
