SOLEKTRA has demonstrated its experience and a difference in the solar street lighting projects. We participated in different great street lighting projects in Rwanda and partnered with well known Organizations such Practical Action, UNHCR and RDB.

It is a project which focuses on the intensification of crop production through solar-powered irrigation systems.

SOLEKTRA has installed a Mini Grid that connects 40 households in Ndego Sector In Kayonza District. It has enabled people to open and operate some key businesses that could not be done without such a mode of electricity, they now have barber saloons, Boutique with Fridge Inside, Computer and Printing,….etc.

SOLEKTRA Solar Academy is an initiative of solektra that has been started to train internal and external staff who are in solar industry. There are objectives that pushed us to initiate this idea:

Develop quality training sessions, adapted to market needs and validated by official certification bodies;
Set up a large Solar Energy Laboratory, complying with international standards and equipped with the latest generation of equipment;
Create partnerships with academic institutions, training centres and companies to enrich our training sessions;
Become a recognized certification and accreditation centre for training in solar photovoltaic energy.
