In 2017, 𝐒𝐎𝐋𝐄𝐊𝐓𝐑𝐀 brought this vision to life with the 𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐕𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐚 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫, 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, turning off-grid villages into hubs of digital learning. 💻

In partnership with 𝐈𝐂𝐃𝐋, we trained citizens to access, engage, and build confidence in technology using our 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦𝐬, fully mobile ICT schools that deliver digital education even where electricity is unavailable.

Today, innovation takes another step forward. 🚚 𝐇𝐮𝐚𝐰𝐞𝐢 and the 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚 have launched the 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤, a mobile classroom equipped with laptops, internet, and digital tools.

Over the next three years, the 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐚𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝟑𝟎 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐬, providing 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬. This initiative contributes to the mission of 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐑𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬.
